We are seeking a highly motivated
Junior Underwriter Intern
to join our team in New York City. This is an
entry-level opportunity
designed for a recent graduate who is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in private credit and fintech. This internship has a
clear path to a full-time role
based on performance.
You will be hired through
Pinnacle Private Credit
and work directly with our
fintech CRM platform team , supporting underwriting efforts within a direct lending environment.
What You’ll Do
Assist in evaluating credit opportunities and underwriting new deals
Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and key risk factors
Support the development and execution of underwriting models
Work closely with the Senior Underwriter and Product Designer to improve underwriting workflows within our CRM platform.
Conduct market and industry research to support investment decisions
Help streamline and optimize internal processes within a fast-growing fintech environment
What We’re Looking For
Recent graduate (or graduating soon) in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field
Strong analytical and quantitative skills (must be comfortable working with numbers)
High attention to detail and ability to think critically
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
Interest in private credit, lending, or fintech
Excellent communication and organizational skills
