
Customer Service Representative

The role is responsible for assisting customers and sales representatives on inquiries and orders.
Activities include but are not limited to: entering and submitting mill claims while keeping the sales rep up to date, answering phone calls and replying to emails in a timely manner, entering orders, returns and credits, offering substitutions for stock out situations, and being able to communicate with customers and sales representatives.
Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm, onsite
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Receive and process customer phone, fax and e-mail orders
Invoicing
Advise customers on pricing and inventory
Receive customer complaints, including research and corrective action plan
Entering returns and credits
Attend sales meetings as needed
Inbound calls
Outbound sales calls to house accounts
Offering customers substitutions for stock out situations
Entering and submitting mill claims which includes following up to ensure credit is received. Being the middle person between the mill and the sales representative.
Qualifications / Capability Profile Minimum Education
High school diploma required
2-3 years’ experience with customer service
Experience in print or paper industry is strongly preferred
Problem solving
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
Packaging industry, or similar experience is desirable
