The Stadium Corporation is the operating entity of Finley Stadium Davenport Field, the First Horizon Pavilion, The Ultra Club and surrounding property. Home to Chattanooga Mocs Football and Women’s Soccer, the Chattanooga Football Club, and the Chattanooga Market, the campus hosts 500,000+ visitors and over 200 events annually. Opened in 1997 as a public‑private partnership, Finley Stadium has also hosted the FCS National Championship, US Soccer National Teams, TSSAA Football Championships, concerts, and numerous local and regional events. Role Reporting to the Private Events Manager, the Marketing Intern is a valuable team member, assisting the management team in all marketing operations. This is a unique opportunity to learn from within the industry, build a network of connections, and have the opportunity to own and lead new projects and initiatives at Finley Stadium, the First Horizon Pavilion, and The Ultra Club. This is a seasonal, stipend‑paid position, with opportunity for college credit or continuing education. The position will start in the Summer 2026 and conclude in mid‑December 2026.
Responsibilities Update internal and external marketing assets with the most accurate information (i.e., website, social media platforms, etc.). Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns. Design and create visual content for our website and other digital channels. Assist in producing and distributing email campaigns.
Assist with presentation design and other visual aids for client meetings.
Attends weekly staff meetings and various meetings pertaining to the department and upcoming events on the property.
Attends quarterly TSC Board Meetings.
Assist staff in event execution, event marketing, media, and social media operations.
Oversee and monitor social media strategy and content on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Create and send‑out the monthly newsletter, including upcoming events, road closure times, and affected parking areas.
Research marketing as is relevant to Finley Stadium’s marketing and public relations efforts. May perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four‑year college or university in a relevant field or currently enrolled and completing an internship for course credit, valid driver’s license. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds while twisting and/or turning, working at heights and frequent climbing of stairs and ladders.
Ability to learn and utilize work management programs such as Google Workspace, WordPress, and Momentus Elite.
Above average skills in Microsoft Excel. Ability to express ideas orally and in writing. Ability to establish rapport with all levels of management, employees, contractors, and the public. Personable, detail‑oriented, self‑starter, problem‑solver, team player, and ability to present data in consumable form.
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
