We invite you to bring your passion and experience to our team! We are currently seeking a full-time administrative assistant to work within the sales department at our office in Hicksville, NY. The assistant will support a team of sales account executives, typing sales proposals and handling other related supportive responsibilities within the department, including UPS mailings, filing, preparation of sales folders for board meetings, and email customer follow-up mailings. This is an 8AM

5PM position working with approximately 2 sales account executives. Estimated Salary: $25.00 to $33.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, and responsibilities. What you will do: Use of company templates for proposals in order to maintain a sense of consistency within the department and ensuring that all relevant and required information is included. Ensuring that sales proposals and contracts are consistent, complete, and prepared according to company and client instructions, and sent on-time. Responsible for handling multiple revisions, edits and re-edit proposal sections as required by sales team and senior management. Review requests for proposal (RFPs) to determine the information needed for specific proposals. What we are looking for: A High School degree and some college or business school coursework is preferred or comparable work experience. Relevant experience in a fast-paced department, dealing with sales force and the ability to assist and provide immediate assistance in typing sales proposals and sales/marketing support. Organization, detail oriented and multi-tasking skills Ability to work independently and with little supervision Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent verbal and written communication skills High-energy, flexible, self-starter, hands-on, comfortable working with little supervision after initial training period.
