Legacy Park Leasing Consultant Location: 8079 Sunrise E Way, Citrus Heights, CA
Reports to: Property Manager On‑Site
Hours: Full‑Time, Tuesday – Friday, 8am‑5pm and Saturday 10am‑4pm
Our Compensation & Benefits
Starting at $17.50 ‑ $19.50, depending on experience

The Opportunity We’re looking for a Leasing Consultant who will be the welcoming first point of contact for future residents. You’ll help create a warm, positive first impression and deliver an exceptional experience throughout every interaction. We are looking for someone reliable, self‑driven, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. All responsibilities should be carried out with professionalism and enthusiasm. Leasing experience is preferred!
Primary Responsibilities
Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills both in person and on the phone, and must have the ability to multi‑task in a busy office setting
Keep accurate and complete prospective lead information, perform regular follow‑up
Be able to display knowledge on the property and surrounding area
Creating and delivering notices, filing documents
Creating and posting accurate online ads
Show vacant or model units, take rental applications and deposits, process applications and create accurate lease paperwork
Process move‑ins/move‑outs, transfers
Perform move‑in inspections with residents at move‑in; perform move‑out inspection with vacating residents in a timely manner
Receive service requests from residents via phone, email or in person and coordinate with in‑house maintenance staff
Maintain office and personal attire in a neat and professional manner. Make sure the leasing desk is always stocked with brochures, applications, sales flyers, business cards and move‑in packets
Complete market survey monthly on local competitive properties and prepare a report to be sent to corporate
Maintain positive relationships with local community and residents
Keep residents, co‑workers and property manager informed
Perform other various duties as assigned by on‑site property manager
Requirements
1+ year of multi‑family leasing experience
Strong market awareness with the ability to secure new tenants
Provides excellent customer service to all visitors and residents
Supports the Community Manager with paperwork and special projects
Knowledge of leasing contracts and property management plus
Proficient in Microsoft Office and asset management software
Strong computer skills, including online platforms and asset software
Comfortable with business math (fractions, decimals, measurements, calculations)
Clear and effective verbal and written communication
Pre‑employment drug test and background check required
