
Architectural Designer

Advanced Exterior Systems, a local architectural cladding design and fabrication firm, is seeking a qualified individual with experience in architectural drafting and detailing. This in‑person role is located in Raleigh, NC. Not a remote position.
Responsibilities
Create and revise detailed architectural and cladding system drawings using CAD (e.g., AutoCAD) and other drafting tools.
Collaborate closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Field personnel to create effective integrated designs.
Apply extensive working knowledge of architectural drafting principles.
Read and interpret architectural and/or structural plans & specs.
Communicate professionally over phone and via email.
Work effectively in a production‑oriented atmosphere.
Maintain a friendly, professional, outgoing, team‑oriented mindset.
Qualifications
Associate degree or certificate in Architectural Drafting, Architectural Technology, CAD Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent drafting experience.
Two years of experience in the CAD drafting industry.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) to produce 2D and 3D drawings.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
