Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Customer Service Representative to join our team! In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for our company, providing exceptional support and solutions to our valued clients. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities will drive customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships. While this position focuses on maintaining positive customer relationships while reducing delinquency, ensuring timely payments and customer payment applications. This position also involves assisting other team members in all functions and responsibilities of the office. Responsibilities include reviewing aging reports and prioritizing high risk or significantly past due accounts, contacting customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding payments, applying customer payments to customer accounts with our CRM accurately and making contact with customers if there is a payment vs account balance discrepancy, reconciling on a daily, weekly and monthly basis all customer payment avenues to ensure accuracy in recording and processing of all payments, responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring clear and effective communication, assisting clients with product or service information, troubleshooting issues, and resolving complaints with a positive attitude, processing customer transactions accurately, including data entry, cash handling, and order processing, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints using Microsoft Office tools and internal CRM databases, collaborating with team members to share insights, improve processes, and enhance overall client satisfaction, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and active listening skills to understand customer needs thoroughly, connecting with web, social media and telephone sales leads to build the sales department sales appointment pipeline, scheduling customers for service calls and/or route delivery, recommending Culligan products and services to customers, and previous experience in customer support roles is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and basic computer skills for data entry and documentation is also required. Experience with outbound calling, client services, or sales is a plus. Knowledge of call center procedures, phone etiquette, and customer service best practices is also important. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, minimum of two years of customer service experience required, strong time management and project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook), excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, accounts receivable / collection calls, and appointment scheduling for field technicians in a residential setting.
