Physical Therapist Assistant - Physical Therapy
Schedule: Days M-F, 8-hour days (times are flexible as long as they are consistent and communicated with DOR) Assignment Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Requirements: 1+ years of Physical Therapist Assistant experience Long-term care or rehabilitation experience Active Physical Therapist Assistant license Roles & Responsibilities: Utilize evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions. Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. Administer various rehabilitation procedures per regulatory and clinical requirements, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly. Document all necessary information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records according to company policy. Participate in required meetings and training sessions related to patient care and rehabilitation services. Compliance / Notes: Must adhere to APTA standards and state practice acts during professional practice. Active state licensure is required when applicable.
