Available Part-time/Temporary Positions: Inclusion/Behavior Specialist ($20-26/hour) (Available in a part-time/temporary capacity year-round) *The City of Reno does not currently have openings in the Inclusion Division but is currently accepting applications for future opportunities. Examples of Essential Functions
Inclusion/Behavior Specialist: Trains staff on how to work with persons with disabilities to better include them in a traditional program settings Provide services directly and indirectly to a variety of individuals with cognitive, behavioral, and physical disabilities. May develop behavior/inclusion plans and instruct staff on implementation and modifying activities on a case by case basis. As assigned, conducts client observations and/or assessments and evaluates individual cases. Minimum Qualifications
Inclusion/Behavior Specialist: Age: 18 Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: One year paid experience working with youth in a recreational setting License: Valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: Education: College level courses related to disabilities or a related field Experience: One year experience working with people with disabilities Certifications: CPR/AED, First Aid Supplemental Information
