Full-Time WORK HOURS (SHIFT)
1st Shift (7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday) STARTING PAY
$17 per hour REQUIRED EDUCATION
HS Diploma or Equivalent required REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Previous Manufacturing preferred
Employees will aid in the manufacturing, packaging and labeling of products. Some packaging and labeling personnel take a lead role and ensure that the production process runs smoothly. Employees may also be tasked with performing quality checks and maintaining production equipment.
Responsibilities : The associate will position a small container beneath the filling equipment to dispense powdered product. They will verify the weight of each filled container to ensure it aligns with batch specifications. The container will then be wiped down and properly labeled. The associate will support packaging by placing finished goods into boxes and applying labels. They will help clean and maintain machine components after production is completed. The role includes assisting with end-of-day sanitation of the production area. The associate will contribute to completing required production documentation. The position requires working efficiently and maintaining a strong sense of urgency. Able and willing to be flexible in your role and cross-train in multiple areas performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications : Capable of frequently lifting items weighing 2030 pounds Able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Possesses basic mathematical proficiency Able to read and write effectively in English Familiar with the metric system and able to perform unit conversions Demonstrates strong reliability with a consistent record of attendance and punctuality, along with a commitment to maintaining exceptional attendance Works with a high level of urgency and efficiency in completing tasks
