Float Phlebotomist w/Testing - PAML

PAML a Labcorp company is seeking

a Float Phlebotomist

to join our team in

Kennewick, WA

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday hours vary between 7:00am - 7:00pm; additional hours and rotating Saturday's as needed

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington‑issued Phlebotomy License

Preferred Qualifications

1 or more years of phlebotomy experience

1 or more years of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Be at least 21 years of age or older

Reliable transportation and clean driving record

Valid Driver's License

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Compensation & Incentives Pay Range:

$19.75 - $27.69 per hour

Float Incentive:

Additional $2.00/hr plus mileage reimbursement

Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program:

PST may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics

Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
