Key Responsibilities: • . Implement Alation best practices and recommend improvements. • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Partner with data governance, data management, and IT teams to ensure that Alation aligns with broader data strategy and governance frameworks. Liaise with business users, data stewards, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure that the platform meets business needs. Good to Have Skills : Data Governance Principles, Data Architecture Concepts Certification in Alation implementation ,Stewardship ,Catalog Admin
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. • 10+ years of experience in
data governance, data cataloging, or data management , with at least 5+ years of experience working with Alation. • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data stewardship, and metadata management. • Experience with relational databases,
ETL tools, and data warehouse environments. • Familiarity
with SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell,Java etc .) for automation and troubleshooting. • Ability to configure Alation's core components and has hands-on experience on functional architecture • Experience with data governance tools such as
Collibra, Informatica,
or similar is a plus. • Experience in implementing Alation within large enterprise environments
Mandatory Skills: Collibra.
Experience: 8-10 Years.
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
