Job Description/ Responsibilities :
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Database Administrator with over 8+ years of expertise in Ansible and Azure Cosmos DB Administration
nsible • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for configuration management and orchestration • Automate provisioning, patching, compliance, and application deployments • Manage and optimize Ansible Automation Platform / AWX / Tower • Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.) • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to standardize automation practices • Troubleshoot automation failures and improve reliability • Document automation standards, workflows, and best practices
zure Cosmos DB Administration • Manage and administer Azure Cosmos DB instances across multiple regions for high availability, low latency applications. • Design and implement Cosmos DB architecture including: o Partitioning strategies o Indexing policies o Throughput (RU/s) optimization o Multi region replication • Optimize Cosmos DB performance through query tuning, indexing, and resource configuration. • Implement backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies for distributed NoSQL workloads. • Monitor Cosmos DB performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and third party tools. • Automate Cosmos DB operations using Azure Automation, Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM/Bicep templates. • Troubleshoot complex issues including latency, throughput throttling, consistency configuration, and SDK related problems. • Integrate Cosmos DB with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and other cloud services.
