Overview Playfly Sports is looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. Locations: Los Angeles, CA; Atlanta, GA. Hybrid work. Responsibilities Execute design of Playfly brand materials across sales and marketing as communicated and assigned by the Head of Design. Leverage understanding of the marketplace, client objectives, advertiser/category nuances, and Playfly capabilities to produce visual multimedia assets that support company initiatives. Work collaboratively with the VP of Design and creative team to translate business goals into tangible creative solutions. Support the creation of multimedia assets, including animated visuals, light video editing, presentation design, and other digital content that enhances storytelling and client engagement. Help build and uphold creative excellence on assigned projects while maintaining high standards and best practices for creative development across the Playfly ecosystem. Continually push creative boundaries through conceptual designs, layouts, and innovative multimedia executions. Contribute to growth of team and refinement of process/workflow. Other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications BFA or BA Degree in Design, Animation or Applied Media (or related) with at least 1-2 years of creative development experience in a broadcast/cable network, integrated marketing or agency environment. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint. Working knowledge of presentation, digital, and multimedia creative projects and processes, with strong layout design skills and experience developing visual presentations and marketing materials. Ability to edit, convert, and manipulate video files and create animated visuals for use across presentations and digital deliverables. Proven ability to apply design and multimedia skills in conceptual work, including typography, color theory, texture, spatial design, composition, and visual storytelling. Sensitivity to current trends in color, design, art, photography, animation, video production, and emerging technologies, and their application to the sports industry. Ability to adapt and multitask while managing various timelines in a rapidly changing, high-growth environment. Enterprising attitude and excellent collaboration skills. Must understand the needs of the various functions of fast-paced sales departments. Portfolio required. Applications should include examples of strong visual design work; animation or video samples are preferred. Travel, Lifting, Physical Requirements Office based position; minimal travel required. Compensation Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
