A performance improvement professional will focus on helping clients grow and turn strategy into reality. We are looking for a Digital Grid Staff experienced in power and utility digital grid programs.

The Opportunity The role of a Digital Grid Staff will be to provide consulting services to Power & Utility clients implementing digital grid programs, capabilities and systems (AMI, ADMS, OMS, SCADA, DRMS, DERMS, EMS, GIS) resulting in increased value and efficiency.

Your Key Responsibilities

Follow established methods, templates, and controls; help ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations.

Execute assigned tasks and deliverables to plan, track status and update project tools.

Identify and resolve/escalate issues and risks that affect scope, quality, schedule and resources.

Support client meetings and workshops (materials, demos, logistics), partnering closely with senior team members.

Apply engineering principles to support the design, configuration, and documentation of operational technologies.

Draft and maintain technical documentation (test cases, runbooks, operational technology maintenance procedures).

Use technology to learn and share knowledge; stay current on foundational topics in power distribution and grid operations.

Provide basic familiarity with power flow for utility real time or planning systems.

Contribute to business development support (e.g., RFP inputs, credentials, case write-ups) and internal knowledge management.

Regular travel as needed by external clients.

Stay current with the latest trends in the industry and be a trusted advisor/subject-matter resource for our clients’ businesses.

To qualify for the role you must have

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a related field (4-year degree).

1-3 years of experience in a technical or engineering role, preferably within the power utility industry.

Willingness to learn (or continue learning) any one of these systems: DER power flow, SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, or other utility control room solutions.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Effective communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Basic understanding of utility operations and ability to interact effectively with control room personnel.

Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

What we offer you

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with base salary ranges. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $76,600 to $126,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,800 to $143,400. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
