Are you a strategic banking leader who loves building strong teams, streamlining operations, and ensuring regulatory excellence? This is your opportunity to lead our Loan Administration Department and make a meaningful impact across the organization.
As our Director of Loan Administration, SVP, you will guide Loan Coordination, Loan Documentation and Quality Assurance, and Loan Operations and Servicing. You will partner closely with Lending and Credit to drive efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement throughout the lending lifecycle.
Based in Kansas City, MO with a flexible hybrid schedule. In office 3 to 4 days per week.
What you’ll do
Lead all loan administration activities, processes, policies, and procedures in support of department goals.
Direct daily workflow and operations across Loan Coordination, Documentation, QA, and Servicing teams.
Serve as a strategic partner between Lenders and Credit to strengthen communication, workflow, and training.
Develop and deliver training to support loan administration excellence.
Identify, research, and resolve operational issues to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Support deployment of new lending products, systems, and processes.
Monitor reporting to ensure compliance with lending policies and regulatory requirements.
Oversee loan systems including LaserPro, Phoenix, nCino, Miniter, construction management software, Encompass for HELOCs, and loan coding for collateral pledging and Call Report.
Lead all internal and external audits and loan reviews, including root cause analysis and timely resolution.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
5 to 7 plus years of loan administration or related banking experience.
Strong knowledge of consumer, commercial, and real estate lending.
Solid understanding of Flood, CRA, HMDA, Regulation B, and TRID.
Experience with system integrations, data mapping, and system administration.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Prior people leadership experience.
