
Senior HR Strategy Analyst

Work Schedule: Given the collaborative and complex nature of this work, this role is in person full time in Irvine, CA. How you’ll make an impact: This role will impactfully support the Senior Director HR Strategy and Process Improvement in developing and executing strategic planning and management processes and initiatives to evolve HR capabilities and how we continually elevate to deliver to the business. This team will define talent and organizational strategies for HR along with defining strategies for other areas of the HR function. The job duties include independent responsibility and collaboration to execute:
Research, develop, and maintain in-depth reviews and analysis of key strategic business issues, including exploring industry models, opportunity assessment, optimizing current approaches and scanning competitive landscape best practices.
Synthesize competitive and market trend intelligence into actionable insights
Execute and support delivery of HR strategy and planning sessions bi‑annually with leadership team. Synthesis and analysis of outputs and activation of action plans.
Responsibility for key tasks in the end‑to‑end “strategy planning, to project portfolio criteria assessment” process.
Work to develop strategic plans cross functionally and across the HR operating model groups that drive enhancement in functional capabilities, programs, initiatives, operations, and operating model continuous improvement to support the business.
Integrate findings from research/analyses and develop the annual planning process, which establishes the imperatives for the organization and maps to .
Collaborate with global colleagues to develop plans functionally and regionally.
Develop presentations and tools to facilitate communication of strategic initiatives and plans to internal and external audiences

What you’ll need (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, finance, statistics or related field with 4 years previous experience in an analytical, strategy, strategic marketing, or business consulting role or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria.

Master's Degree or MBA
Prior experience in a role focused on HR strategy specifically, or functional strategy or organizational effectiveness
Strong data analysis skills
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with a high degree of accuracy
Project management skills with strong time management and organizational ability
Tech savvy with Microsoft Office including CoPilot or other AI
Strong financial skills with a demonstrated ability to understand and dissect markets, competition and industry trends
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Strong problem‑solving skills
Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels, with an emphasis on integrity and trust.
Strict attention to detail
Experience in medical device, biotech or health care
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Must be able to work in a team environment, including the ability to work with vendors and project stakeholders; able to build productive internal/external working relationships
Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California (CA), the base pay range for this position is $92,000 to $130,000 (highly experienced).
