Creative Director – Video & Motion – Major Grocery Brand (Lakeland, Florida)

Scope: 6-month W2 contract, full-time (40 hours per week M‑F) includes options for medical, dental, and vision benefits + PTO

Local candidates who can be onsite will be prioritized, but open to remote candidates

Hourly Rate Range - $50‑$55

We’re looking for a Creative Director with strong video and film backgrounds to join our client’s creative team on an initial six‑month contract basis, with the potential to convert to a full‑time role based on performance and business needs for a local or relocated professional.

About The Role

As a Creative Director, you’ll lead the visual expression of our client’s brand — driving innovative, video‑first storytelling across advertising campaigns, social content, broadcast, and marketing initiatives. You’ll oversee creative concepts from development through final delivery, ensuring brand consistency and measurable results across every platform.

You’ll partner closely with marketing, content, production, and leadership teams while mentoring a multidisciplinary creative team of Art Directors, Video Editors, Motion Designers, and Writers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a creative team across video, design, and copy disciplines
  • Drive video storytelling from scripting and storyboarding through post‑production and final delivery
  • Oversee all video content, including broadcast, social, digital ads, short‑form, product videos, and experiential
  • Ensure video is optimized for platform‑specific performance across social, web, paid media, and broadcast
  • Review and approve scripts, edits, motion treatments, color grading, and sound design
  • Build strong relationships with marketing, media, digital, and external production partners
  • Manage creative timelines and budgets to deliver high‑quality work on schedule

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–7+ years of creative experience with significant hands‑on video leadership
  • Background in film, broadcast, or video post‑production (title is flexible — ACD, Film Producer, Art Director, etc.)
  • Strong command of video storytelling, pacing, motion design, editing, and production workflows
  • Proven ability to lead creative teams and manage complex, multi‑platform projects
  • Experience directing shoots and collaborating on set
  • Familiarity with performance‑driven video and social analytics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
