The Asset Management Department is responsible for optimizing the performance of assets under management and supporting execution of business strategies across a diverse portfolio of multi-family, commercial, senior living, land, and industrial properties.
The Investor Relations, Asset Management Associate plays a key role in supporting both asset-level performance and investor communication efforts. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality, investor-facing materials, supporting ownership reporting, and contributing to financial and operational analysis across the portfolio. The role partners closely with Asset Management, Finance, Equity, Development, and Operations teams to ensure accurate, timely, and effective communication of asset performance, strategy, and results to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares quarterly and ad hoc investor reporting materials, including clear, concise narratives that communicate asset performance, key trends, market data, and strategic initiatives.
Drafts and refines investor communications, ensuring alignment with Hubbell Realty Company standards and a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
Develops investment summaries, case studies, and presentation materials for investors and internal stakeholders.
Supports responses to investor and lender inquiries, including both qualitative and quantitative information.
Conducts market research and analysis on real estate trends, competitive positioning, and macroeconomic factors impacting asset performance.
Supports asset-level performance analysis, including financial results, operational metrics, and variance to budget and underwriting.
Assists in the development and execution of asset-level business plans to improve performance, manage risk, and enhance asset value.
Prepares internal reporting, dashboards, and summaries to support leadership decision-making.
Analyzes portfolio trends and provides insights and recommendations to Asset Management leadership.
Supports cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving reporting consistency, operational efficiency, and data integrity across the portfolio.
Assists with underwriting reviews and benchmarking asset performance against original projections.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by leadership in support of Asset Management and broader company initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, accounting, business, communications, or a related field
Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of experience in asset management, real estate, finance, investor relations, or related field
Experience with real estate operations, financial analysis, and reporting preferred
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to prepare professional, investor-ready materials
