Responsibilities

Work with staff to learn eminent domain and the appraisal process

Learn applicable appraisal compliance, laws and regulations

Provide production support to District Staff with all aspects of valuation, appraisal, and cost estimating

Receive and eventually provide hands‑on training to District Staff

Qualifications

48 months training or 48 months experience in real estate, property management or related field; travel required; must be able to provide own transportation

Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration real estate or property management or related field; 24 months training or 24 months experience in real estate or property management or related field; travel required; must be able to provide own transportation

Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above

Or 12 months experience as Real Estate Specialist, 84592

Additional Information This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA standards. All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one-year probationary period. Position will be filled pursuant to the OCSEA/AFSCME contract. The final candidate will undergo a criminal background check.
