We’re looking for a Content Creative to join our in‑house content team. Do you obsess about content creation? From how Content Creators are delivering fresh content, to how consumers engage brands, through short and long‑form content? You keep one eye on future technologies, methodologies, and media types that excite and engage audiences.

This role focuses on operating (video and photo) and post‑production (video editing, coloring, photo treatments, etc), working with our team and external contractors/crew to help execute, capture, and edit content.

Responsibilities

Operating camera equipment of various types, from cinema to consumer‑grade (DP/Cam Op)

Directing, editing, and color grading all types of content

Involvement in all aspects of content production from creative conceptualization and development through post‑production for projects of various sizes; develop treatments and shot lists

Ability to lead sets and communicate with crew (Director, DP, AC, Gaffer, Sound Mixer, PA, DIT)

Contribute to and take ownership of post‑production jobs, collaborating with the creative and content teams across editing, coloring, and delivering assets

Provide thoughtful insight and feedback that pushes the creative

Photography and photo editing/treatment

Dutifully contribute to maintaining file organization, archival standards, and content management

Ability to work in studio, on location, and travel on assignments

Ability to lift 50+ pounds, help haul gear, etc

Qualifications & Requirements

5+ years of content creation, photography, video production, and post‑production experience working in an agency or brand environment

Strong proficiency in concepting, creating shot lists, editing, color grading, and operating cameras (RED, DSLR, etc)

Solid proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Frame.io, Adobe Lightroom, etc

Experience in experimentation with new technologies and methods, including AI and generative content

Proficiency in tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Cinema4D, and Blender a plus

Sound design experience is a plus

Thoughtfully approach work using best practices to deliver high‑quality content in the changing digital landscape

Accountability to tight deadlines and quick turnarounds while maintaining a high quality of work with creative integrity

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and entrepreneurial environment and seize the opportunity to make a difference

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, on multiple overlapping projects

Experience working with art directors, content producers, writers, directors, business affairs, talent, crew, etc

Reports To The Content Creative role reports directly to a Senior Art Director.

Details This is an in‑office Portland, Oregon position with three days per week in office. A hybrid approach will make up the other two days per week, with additional days in office per week as needed or required by management. We’re committed to maintaining a professional level of flexibility for our team to do their best work. *We are open to fully remote candidates as well on a per case basis.

The salary band for this role is $60,000-$75,000.
