We’re seeking a Content Marketing Manager who will help tell the story of Payment Experience Management, across content types and channels. Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand & Communications, this role will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that strengthens our brand position, supports revenue growth, and ensures PayNearMe is highly visible across traditional search, AI‑powered search, and large language model (LLM) discovery environments. You’ll combine strong storytelling with modern content distribution strategy, ensuring our message reaches buyers, partners, analysts, the media and industry influencers wherever they seek information.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned to brand and revenue objectives.

Create high‑impact content across formats, including long‑form, short‑form, research reports, video, and multimedia assets, to support brand awareness, thought leadership, and pipeline growth.

Translate complex payments and fintech concepts into clear, compelling narratives tailored to enterprise buyer personas.

Maintain and manage an editorial calendar aligned to campaigns, product launches, and industry initiatives.

Brand Amplification

Promote and reinforce PayNearMe’s position as the leader in Payment Experience Management through consistent, high‑quality storytelling.

Ensure all content adheres to established brand guidelines, voice, and messaging frameworks.

Partner with PR, Product Marketing, and Demand Generation to amplify campaigns and strengthen brand visibility across owned, earned, and paid channels.

Support executive thought leadership initiatives and industry positioning efforts.

Search Optimization, Performance & Analytics

Ensure content is optimized for traditional SEO, AI‑powered search, and LLM‑driven discovery.

Apply structured content best practices to improve visibility in AI‑generated responses.

Monitor emerging AI search trends and evolve strategy to maintain authority and discoverability.

Measure impact against KPIs including engagement, brand visibility, and share of voice.

Continuously optimize content for performance and relevance.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Executive Leadership to identify insights and stories.

Interview subject matter experts to develop authentic, differentiated content.

Collaborate with designers and external partners to deliver polished, compelling assets.

Qualifications

5–7+ years of B2B content marketing experience, ideally in fintech, payments, SaaS, or technology.

Exceptional writing and editing skills with a strong portfolio of long‑form and short‑form content.

Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles and complex buyer journeys.

Experience working with different content editing and multimedia tools, including video editors, visual editors, etc.

Strong project management skills, including working with tools such as Asana, Google Docs and more.

Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot, Sanity).

Detail‑oriented with a strong commitment to brand consistency and quality.

Preferred

Experience marketing to financial institutions, lenders, or large billers.

Experience supporting PR, analyst relations, or executive communications.

Understanding of SEO, content analytics, and evolving AI‑driven search dynamics.

The annual base salary range for this role represents PayNearMe’s good‑faith estimate of the base salary it reasonably expects to offer for this position at the time of hire. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and work location. PayNearMe may offer compensation outside of this range in certain circumstances. This position will remain posted until filled.

Annual Salary Range

$120,000—$130,000 USD
