Sales Account Manager

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals Identify new business opportunities and potential clients within the oil and gas industry Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closing Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, business development and marketing to drive successful sales initiatives Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to potential clients Responsible for driving business growth within the US market Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (MBA preferred) Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience in the OEM, turbomachinery and Oil and Gas industry Strong understanding of Oil and Gas market dynamics, trends, and challenges Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify market trends and develop sales strategies Results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth Established network in the US Oil and Gas sector Experience with CRM software and proficiency in MS Office suite Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Based in Houston, TX and willing to travel as needed The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 per year and is commensurate with the level of experience.
