Ramboll is a global architecture, engineering, and consulting company that focuses on sustainable solutions. We are looking for a new graduate to join our Princeton, NJ office as an Early‑Career Consultant.

Your new role As a consultant you will work closely with project managers and other consultants on a variety of environmental projects across our Environment & Health practice.

Your key responsibilities may include:

Perform field work including drilling, soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, indoor air sampling and laboratory services. Additional work may involve hydraulic testing, well installation, and soil logging.

Provide oversight of field management of remediation systems such as SVE, eISB, ISCO, PRB and groundwater treatment.

Assist in developing site investigation work plans, cost estimates, budgeting and data analysis.

Assist with Conceptual Site Models, ecological assessments and technical/regulatory reports.

Collect, compile, evaluate sample data to characterize contaminants and provide technical assistance on investigations and remediation projects.

Prepare preliminary assessment reports, site and remedial investigation reports, feasibility studies and other technical reports.

Follow corporate health and safety standards.

Your starting point for constant growth Qualifications and requirements:

At least a bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science.

Experience or coursework in geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, ecology, GIS mapping, field geology or contaminant transport modeling is desired.

Experience with environmental regulatory programs, database management, risk assessment, or environmental sampling is a plus.

OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER training is a plus.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time and possession of a valid driver’s license.

Physical ability to perform general field duties such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 40 pounds. Occasional exposure to extreme weather, noise and site hazards is possible.

Salary Transparency Statement Annual base salary is likely to be between $58,500 and $76,000. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, location, internal equity, market conditions, education and skill level.
