Technical Sales Specialist – Industrial Coatings
Chemical manufacturer is seeking a technical sales individual to join their team! If you have a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience selling industrial or powder coatings, you could be a great fit for this role. Our client offers competitive benefits!
The Technical Sales Representative – General Industrial is responsible for representing the company in obtaining new business, maintaining current business, and providing technical support.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prospect, sell and service industrial paint coatings.
Recognize sales opportunities when providing service work and conversely recognize opportunities for technical support when prospecting customers.
Provide technical education and solutions in the field to customers regarding all aspects of company products.
Provide account maintenance for current customers including contract negotiations.
Forecast sales and price adjustments.
Work with the development team to ensure technical skills are current with regards to existing products and future products in consideration.
Report all initiatives to supervisor and provide status updates on a regular basis.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Salary $80,000 - $110,000

Technical Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred to be a Science related field such as Chemistry or Business.
Minimum of three years of technical sales in powder or industrial experience in a chemical coatings’ environment.
