
West Regional Sales Manager (Remote)

Regional Sales Manager West WD
Reporting to the Sr. Sales Manager, US WD, the Regional Sales Manager West WD is responsible for managing distributor relationships and attaining sales targets across the eastern region. This role strengthens partnerships with warehouse distributors, leads the creation and execution of annual sales plans and drives demand for PHINIA's product categories through targeted account strategies and field engagement. The position leads a team of direct report sales professionals to execute regional initiatives and meet defined sales objectives. Key Responsibilities Execute regional sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and product-mix objectives across the eastern territory. Maintain and enhance relationships with key warehouse distributor personnel ensuring strong account coverage and alignment with customer priorities. Lead a high-performing regional sales team of Territory Sales Managers and Brand Promotion Specialists through effective performance management, continuous coaching, and ongoing training and development. Ensure effective territory alignment and resource deployment to provide comprehensive coverage across the geographic region. Analyze regional performance, identify growth opportunities, and adjust account strategies based on market conditions and distributor performance. Coordinate cross-functional resources to support customer needs, including operations, marketing, technical teams, and customer service. Oversee forecasting and pipeline management to ensure accurate visibility into regional performance and future opportunities. Ensure execution of channel programs and promotions in partnership with distributors and field teammates. Maintain compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and sales processes. Consistently report sales results, key developments, and market insights to ensure visibility and alignment across the organization. Represent PHINIA at industry events, customer meetings, and business reviews, strengthening the company's presence with key partners. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred; (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of automotive aftermarket sales experience, including proven leadership of sales professionals in a field-based team environment. Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role while managing multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-state regions and deliver consistent sales growth across diverse markets. Deep understanding of warehouse distributors, automotive service providers, and channel dynamics within the aftermarket. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify market opportunities, and adjust regional strategies accordingly. Strong communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills, including the ability to influence internal teams and external partners. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to develop professional reports, forecasts, and sales presentations. Experience using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) for pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning. Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel within the assigned region.
