Director of Development

A growing nonprofit organization is seeking a Director of Development to lead its fundraising function and deepen its roots in the community. This individual will build and manage a robust donor pipeline, oversee grant writing, and serve as the public face of the organization's philanthropic mission.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive annual fundraising strategy Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations Lead grant identification, writing, and reporting processes Organize and oversee fundraising events and campaigns Collaborate with marketing to build community awareness and brand affinity Prepare and present development reports to the Board of Directors Manage and mentor a development team Qualifications
5+ years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience Demonstrated success growing donor bases and managing major gift portfolios Experience with CRM/donor management platforms (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce Nonprofit) CFRE certification a plus Passion for mission-driven causes
