THE WORK This position is for the F‑35 TSSC Graphic Artist/Media Specialist at the US Navy F‑35C Pilot Training Center, Naval Air Station (NAS) Lemoore, California.
Manages media production for the sustainment team in accordance with internal processes and media conventions to create affordable, engaging, and interactive multimedia for F‑35 courseware.
Develops and maintains F‑35 courseware products (media/graphics/video) in accordance with style and standards guides.
Works with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and courseware developers to translate technical information into functioning media for training products.
Serves as the local expert for all media production tools (e.g., Autodesk 3D Studio, Adobe Suites, Alien Skin Eye Candy 6, SAP Author, SAP Viewer).

Basic Qualifications
Experience with media production tools (e.g., Autodesk 3D Studio, Adobe Suites, Alien Skin Eye Candy 6, SAP Author, SAP Viewer).
Must possess a DoD SECRET Clearance and be able to attain F‑35 Program Access Clearance.
Desired Skills
Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in photography, video, 3D modeling, and animation.
Visual design experience (iconography, typography, composition) with expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Animate, Acrobat).
Experience with Multi‑Media Design Architecture and eLearning standards (Interactivity Level 2 & 3, SCORM, Web environments).
Working knowledge of HTML, HTML5, CSS, and XML.
Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.

Compensation & Benefits Annual base salary: $69,900 – $123,280 (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC). For other states, salary reflects final work location. Additional compensation: incentive plan eligible.
