We are currently seeking a
Traveling Superintendent
to oversee projects throughout the Asheville, North Carolina area. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced construction professional to manage residential projects, including both renovations and ground-up builds, while growing with our organization. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of residential construction projects, ensuring smooth planning, implementation, and completion
Manage high-volume, high-turnover renovations and new builds with uncompromising quality standards
Allocate resources effectively for assigned projects, ensuring proper staffing and material management
Supervise onsite personnel, including subcontractors, ensuring they meet project standards
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to ensure reasonable costs and effective project management
Ensure high standards of workmanship, adhering to original plans and specifications
Maintain daily logs, weekly reports, and ensure all project documentation is up-to-date
Maintain strict project schedules and take proactive measures to meet deadlines
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in construction supervision with strong understanding of residential construction
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore) to streamline operations
Experience managing high-volume residential projects, including both renovations and new builds
Strong leadership qualities and ability to manage diverse teams of personnel and subcontractors
Exceptional negotiation skills to ensure favorable contract terms and manage costs effectively
Detail-oriented while maintaining focus on meeting project deadlines
Willingness and ability to travel throughout North Carolina regularly to oversee projects
