Lead the firm's tax planning and advisory services for HNW clients, families, trusts, estates, and private foundations. Oversee preparation and review of complex tax returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 709, 990-PF, etc.). Develop and communicate proactive tax strategies including charitable planning, wealth transfer, entity structuring, and multi-state tax considerations. Collaborate with wealth advisors to integrate tax insights into clients' comprehensive financial plans. Manage relationships with external tax preparers, legal counsel, and other professional partners. A successful Tax Director should have: CPA 10+ years of progressive experience in individual, fiduciary, and partnership taxation, ideally within a private wealth, family office, or Big 4/large regional firm environment. Deep knowledge of U.S. tax code relevant to HNW clients, trusts/estates, gifting, charitable vehicles (incl. CRTs & foundations), and multi-generational planning. What's on Offer
