
Digital Marketing Strategist

We are looking for a Digital Strategist to research and identify ways to build clients’ targeted audiences and paid media placements across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: tracking advertising costs, researching consumer behavior, creating targeted audiences, and exploring market trends and opportunities.
To succeed in this role, candidates must have strong hands‑on experience managing and optimizing campaigns in Meta Ads Manager. They should be comfortable processing and interpreting marketing data, building strategic audiences, and using performance insights to guide budget allocation and campaign improvements. The Digital Strategist will play a key role in driving successful digital campaigns through efficient use of client marketing budgets, strong audience strategy, and data‑backed optimization.
Responsibilities
Review contract deliverables and ensure all client requirements are clearly documented.
Create, document, and refine processes for downloading, cleaning, and uploading historical client data to establish campaign benchmarks.
Develop benchmark reports based on year-over-year and month-over-month revenue trends, top-selling products, and other key business metrics.
Prepare for and lead client meetings by presenting clear, accurate, and effective performance results, including KPIs, ROI, ROAS, audience insights, and the impact of ancillary services.
Monitor campaign pacing and elevate underperforming accounts to Account Executives and Account Managers for resolution.
Lead deep-dive analyses to uncover insights related to performance challenges, including quarter-over-quarter creative effectiveness, audience fatigue, frequency impact for e-commerce clients, and other ad hoc investigations.
Conduct thorough reviews of client POS and CRM data to assess overall business health and campaign effectiveness.
Provide strategic recommendations on ad spend adjustments, ancillary service adoption, audience strategy, and campaign optimization.
Set up and manage Marketing Milk accounts for clients.
Conduct client satisfaction check-ins and proactively address concerns.
Develop and share post-meeting action plans to support continuous improvement and accountability.
Conduct weekly performance roll-throughs, analyzing ROI pacing, test results, and bridge/.5 check-ins to support account adjustment meetings.
Assist with onboarding new clients as needed.
Requirements The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in digital marketing strategy, campaign analysis, or media planning.
Strong hands‑on experience managing campaigns within Meta Ads Manager, including campaign setup, optimization, and performance analysis.
Experience with audience segmentation, retargeting, and lookalike audience development in Meta.
Proficiency in data analytics and advertising platforms such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and similar tools.
Experience working with CRM and POS data to inform strategy and performance recommendations.
Strong understanding of ROI, ROAS, KPI measurement, and digital advertising performance metrics.
Experience with budget management, forecasting, and campaign pacing.
Excellent presentation skills and strong client-facing communication abilities.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients and time-sensitive requests simultaneously.
Ability to work independently, take ownership of daily responsibilities, and drive results.
Skills
Real-world experience as a Digital Analyst, Digital Strategist, or in a similar role.
Expertise in Google Analytics.
Strong understanding of SEM campaign strategy and SEO best practices.
Experience with PPC campaigns across Google and paid social platforms.
Advanced proficiency in Excel.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
