Senior Revenue Cloud Developer

Senior Revenue Cloud Developer Work Location: Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week onsite at Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Englewood, CO; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL; Raleigh, NC; or Charlottesville, VA.

Responsibilities and Impact

Design and build advanced customizations using Apex (classes, triggers, batch, queueable, Platform Events), Visualforce (if applicable), and Lightning (Aura/LWC), ensuring scalability and performance. Knowledge of Lightning components, applications, events, and component-to-component communication is an added advantage.

Drive the design, development, and deployment of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices in Agile (SCRUM) methodologies and SDLC principles.

Have good knowledge of AngularJS, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML, and DHTML in the Salesforce platform.

Extensive experience with debugging methods such as Anonymous Code Block execution and working/writing to System and Developer Logs.

Hands‑on experience in deployment tools like Copado, Prodly, and Salesforce CLI.

Ability to adjust well in a new atmosphere and take responsibility for solution execution.

Produce system design documents, lead technical walkthroughs, and present code solutions to the Salesforce Architecture Review Board.

Produce high‑quality code, own the code quality, and represent the team’s technical output for workstreams and product owners.

Collaborate effectively with technical and non‑technical partners.

As a team member, continuously improve the architecture and mentor junior developers on best practices.

Potential to work in a System Architect Associate role to speak to solutions in governance meetings, operating committees, and stakeholder discussions.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in application development using Salesforce.

Experience with front‑end technologies (e.g., Lightning Web Components, JavaScript frameworks like Angular/jQuery) to enhance user experience within the platform.

Currently hold one or more of the following: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect.

Experience integrating Salesforce flows and custom Apex with Agentforce to deliver scalable agent workflows.

Experience with Salesforce.com API, SOAP messaging, and integration with other enterprise applications; trigger design patterns.

Proficient with SDLC methodologies like Agile and Test‑driven development.

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant & Salesforce Platform Developer II.

Experience building custom solutions around Salesforce Steelbrick, Revenue Cloud, or Zuora implementations at an enterprise level.

Significant functional understanding of billing functionalities such as collections, revenue schedules, cash application, tax, and invoice generation.

Experience with front‑end technologies (e.g., Lightning Web Components, JavaScript frameworks like Angular/jQuery) to enhance user experience within the platform.

Experience integrating Salesforce using external objects, GraphQL, and navigating Salesforce Managed Packages limitations.

Experience working in a complex, multi‑cloud or multi‑org Salesforce environments.

Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms for non‑technical stakeholders.

Ability to create technical design documents, architectural enterprise design documents, and data schemas.

Experience working on large‑scale CPQ data migrations.

Compensation/Benefits Information S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $91,805 to $162,163. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
