Senior Estimator – Soft Crafts

Salary Range:
$115,000 – $140,000 annually (commensurate with experience) PK Industrial is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator – Soft Crafts to support our growing industrial services operations. This role will focus on estimating for coatings, fireproofing, insulation, and scaffolding projects across industrial markets. The position may be based out of our Augusta, Kansas shop, with flexibility for remote work or relocation for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for soft craft services, including coatings, fireproofing, insulation, and scaffolding. Perform quantity take-offs and analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Prepare estimates for large-scale projects and turnaround projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness. Collaborate with operations, project management, and leadership teams during bid review and project handoff. Evaluate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Participate in bid strategy discussions and support proposal development. Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and clients throughout the estimating process. Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in the industrial services or construction industry, with a strong emphasis on soft crafts. Proven experience with:
Quantity take-offs Large project estimating Turnaround project estimating
Solid understanding of industrial jobsite conditions and cost drivers. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams. Professional references required
