Overview
The Digital Forensics Team at S-E-A offers a comprehensive suite of services designed to meet the challenges of modern investigations where advanced technologies present obstacles. We work with our clients in a collaborative way to understand their unique needs, develop a tailored approach or process, and apply that in a logical and well explained manner. With over 50 years of combined expertise, state-of-the-art tools, and a multi-disciplined approach to investigations, we provide our clients with the means to leverage digital evidence to resolve disputes and legal actions. On-site shadowing and training is critical for this role. This opportunity will be in the office full-time, through the training period, which may be up to one year. Thereafter, this role is eligible for S-E-A\'s flexplace policy, which allows up to two remote days per week. Essential Functions
Demonstrate competency and understanding of forensic processes to peers through execution of test Perform digital forensic lab processes in support of billable matters, as instructed by lead investigators Provide programming in support of automating digital processes for the Digital Forensics practice group Work with the S-E-A evidence team to execute processes for evidence administration as needed Work both independently and under guidance as part of a professional consulting team Work in a mentoring environment learning forensic processes as designated by team Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing both internally and externally Ability to accept and integrate constructive feedback into job performance Regular and predictable presence at work Required Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent years of work experience Demonstrated experience in the following languages and frameworks: Python, Bash, and Assembly Language Technical DFIR certification such as GCFA, GCFE, EnCE or CFCE is preferred Familiarity with forensic tool kits such as EnCase, Magnet Forensics, X-Ways, Cellebrite or VeraKey is preferred Minimum of 1-2 years of professional software development experience or equivalent or internship experience Demonstrated strong attention to detail Fluency in a second language is preferred Strong documentation and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Adaptable and flexible to changing project requirements Able to work independently and set own goals Ability to work routinely in an office as part of a professional consulting team Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 40 lbs Ability to maneuver large or heavy items with equipment assistance Ability to travel 15% of the time Ability to drive in all conditions Ability to fly on airplanes Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required by the work site Benefits
