Position Summary
This position is within the Office of Marketing and Communications, which is a support unit for the College of Veterinary Medicine. The main responsibility of this position will be to create digital and print designs for various units within the CVM. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a portfolio and gain practical experience in an in-house marketing environment. The ideal candidate should be available to work 10-15 hours per week during regular business hours. Work hours are flexible and can be scheduled around class timings and related deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities
80%: Designing digital and print materials such as brochures, booklets, digital display signs, etc., utilizing the visual identity and branding guidelines of UGA and the College of Veterinary Medicine, and occasionally printing and preparing materials as needed.
15%: Assisting in related office work, such as scanning and filing media clips and photos.
5%: Other duties as assigned.
Relevant/Preferred Education
UGA student studying graphic design and/or marketing.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Demonstrated ability to proficiently use Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva. Ability to think creatively and multi‑task. Knowledge of UGA’s brand is a plus.
