■ Position Summary
The Entry Writer is responsible for preparing import documentation and supporting customs clearance and logistics operations. This role ensures smooth communication between internal teams, customers, and government agencies. This position is ideal for candidates who are interested in obtaining a Licensed Customhouse Broker certification in the future.
■ Key Responsibilities
Prepare and submit customs entry documentation
Review import documents such as invoices and packing lists
Ensure compliance with customs regulations
Coordinate with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams
Track shipments and manage delivery schedules
Perform data entry and maintain shipment records
Provide quotes and assist with billing/invoicing
Troubleshoot logistics and shipment issues
■ Requirements
3–5 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or customs brokerage
Customs Broker license is a plus (not required)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
