The Social Work Master's (MSW Program at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time MSW Director of Field Education and Assistant Professor. This position utilizes a 9-over-12-month professional practice contract that carries an expectation of six course loads, throughout a 12-month period, which will include teaching and field duties.
Responsibilities The Field Director administers the MSW field education program, which includes orienting foundation and clinical students to both placement processes, managing the matching process with agency partners and the Twin Cities MSW Field Consortium, collaborating with University data management systems, and supervising the Field Information Coordinator to ensure timely communications with students and agencies, and updating field materials (e.g., field manual, agency agreements, learning contracts, etc.) each year. The Field Director, with support from the Program Director, faculty colleagues, and staff in the Clinical and Fieldwork Clearance Office, has a primary role in providing education/training opportunities to ensure quality supervision of students and achievement of learning outcomes per CSWE standards.
Minimum Qualifications
MSW from a CSWE accredited program
Current and valid LICSW or LGSW
Two years post MSW practice experience and/or teaching experience
Knowledge of field education in Social Work
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a Field Instructor
Administrative experience in Field Education

Compensation Hourly/annual wage is $57,000 - $60,369 depending on qualifications and experience.
The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.
