
Marketing Operations Specialist II

Position Summary
The Marketing Operations Specialist supports the execution of marketing campaigns by building targeted customer contact lists and delivering accurate, compliant data outputs. The role works closely with Marketing to transform campaign requirements into actionable data solutions, ensuring lists are optimized, timely and aligned with corporate contact and data governance guidelines. This highly analytical position focuses on SAS job development, list processing, reporting and data quality. Success requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally to support efficient marketing execution and continuous improvement. Candidates must reside in Wisconsin and be able to work onsite at our corporate office in Neenah, WI at least twice per month.
Job Responsibilities
Create and process targeted contact lists for promotional campaigns based on marketing specifications or analysis; identify and resolve list issues such as list priorities, shortages, overages, duplicates and data inconsistencies while ensuring compliance with customer contact guidelines.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer data, list segmentation logic and marketing data processes.
Partner with Marketing stakeholders to analyze and clarify campaign requirements, translating business needs into accurate, actionable data and list solutions.
Transform raw data files into usable outputs by analyzing file structures, creating file layouts and streamlining and automating data workflow.
Build, maintain and enhance recurring and ad‑hoc reports using marketing, customer and campaign performance data to support business decision making.
Run and manage multiple scripts and queries to assemble reports or series of reports; troubleshoot data issues and monitor for exceptions.
Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards and other performance tracking tools to provide ongoing visibility into campaign and operational metrics.
Provide guidance and support to end users on list request processes, reporting tools and data usage best practices; assist with onboarding new tools, processes or enhancements.
Document processes, standards and best practices related to list creation, reporting and marketing data workflows, and identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
Demonstrate an understanding of schedule purpose while effectively managing multiple requests to ensure on‑time delivery.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within marketing data workflows.
Qualifications Education & Experience
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Associate degree in a business, marketing or technology related field desirable.
2+ years of reporting/data analysis experience, preferably in a sales or marketing environment.
Other Skills/Qualifications
Knowledge of SAP BI, SAS, Acoustic, BCC, MS Access and/or other similar database software desired.
Strong investigative, organizational and analytical skills.
Proficient in spreadsheet creation, report design and data manipulation.
Ability to pull, analyze and summarize large amounts of data.
Good communication skills.
Understanding of sales and marketing functions.
Physical Requirements Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
