Position Summary
The Counter Service Attendant is responsible for delivering a high level of service to members and guests in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. This role supports daily food and beverage operations by providing efficient, friendly service while maintaining The Carriage Club's standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Primary Responsibilities
Greet members and guests in a warm, professional manner
Accurately take and process food and beverage orders
Prepare and deliver items in a timely and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service counter, dining areas, and workstations
Handle member transactions accurately in accordance with Club procedures
Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations
Monitor and restock supplies, condiments, and service items as needed
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
Member Experience
Provide attentive, courteous service that reflects the standards of a private club environment
Anticipate member needs and respond promptly to requests
Address questions or concerns professionally and escalated to management when appropriate
Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude at all times
Operational Support
Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas
Support Club events and high-volume service periods
Follow all Club policies, including those related to service standards and member interactions
Qualifications
Previous food and beverage or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math and point-of-sale (POS) system proficiency
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight as needed
