Summary Join our team as a Golf Course Marshal / Starter and be a key player in creating unforgettable experiences for our guests at the resort! As one of the most vital members of our golf staff, you’ll ensure that every guest enjoys their time on the course to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Engagement:
Be the friendly face that welcomes and assists guests, ensuring they have a fantastic golf experience.
Resort Knowledge:
Become an expert on all things resort‑related to provide guests with accurate and helpful information.
Pace of Play:
Monitor and maintain a smooth pace of play, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable round.
Coordination:
Work closely with the Starter and Tournament Coordinator to set up special events and guide groups to their starting holes.
Course Maintenance:
Communicate with golf maintenance about any issues on the course and assist with traffic control ropes.
Facility Upkeep:
Regularly check water coolers and on‑course restrooms for cleanliness and maintenance needs.
Waste Management:
Keep an eye on on‑course refuse and take action if trash cans are overflowing.
Ranger Cart : Keep your ranger cart clean and well‑stocked with guest supplies.
Guest Comfort:
Distribute cold towels to players on the course to keep them refreshed.
Safety First:
Maintain knowledge of first aid, CPR, and AED use, and comply with all safety regulations.
