MORTGAGE FULFILLMENT UNDERWRITER (DE CERTIFIED) • FULLY REMOTE | EASTERN TIME ZONE REQUIRED

What You’ll Be Doing
Independently decision a full range of mortgage loans, including FHA loans as a DECertified Underwriter
Perform comprehensive credit and risk analysis using DU and LP
Review mortgage applications and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Collaborate with borrowers, internal partners, and stakeholders to resolve conditions and outstanding issues
Ensure all loans meet Federal, State, and local compliance requirements
Approve or deny mortgage loans accurately and within required turnaround times
Maintain high‑quality standards with full accountability for underwriting decisions
Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization’s culture and values
What You Bring
Active DE (Direct Endorsement) Certification – Required
Expert‑level experience in the mortgage industry
Proven as a Mortgage Underwriter / DE Underwriter
Strong knowledge of credit review and risk assessment, FHA and agency underwriting guidelines, automated underwriting systems (DU and LP)
Solid understanding of mortgage laws and regulations, including HMDA
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high attention to detail with independent decision‑making ability
Education High School Diploma required
Work Schedule Requirement Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone hours; fully remote role (location‑flexible within EST alignment)
