Job Responsibilities

Identify trends and provide guidance to mitigate employee relations issues while fostering a positive, inclusive, and compliant work culture.

Lead, support, and develop a team of People & Culture Partners, delivering direction, coaching, and professional development for high performance and effective business partnership.

Partner with the Employee Relations team to conduct thorough investigations and develop solutions for complex employee issues.

Serve as a key resource for all employees in the assigned region, being accessible and responsive to People & Culture matters.

Collaborate with Regional Operations and People & Culture teams to develop and maintain an organizational design that supports business and fosters equitable career paths.

Support regional talent‑management activities and partner with the Regional Operations VP to drive talent and succession planning.

Ensure execution and compliance with initiatives such as orientation, onboarding, employee events, benefits enrollment, leave administration, compensation reviews, and engagement initiatives.

Interpret and communicate policies with Corporate People & Culture and Legal to ensure compliance with all employment laws, including California regulations.

Act as a resource on compensation and benefit matters, coaching managers on salary and reward recommendations while aligning with pay equity and transparency.

Assist in creating organizational and talent plans for new club openings.

Support performance‑management to promote continuous improvement; partner with managers on coaching, corrective action, performance improvement plans, and goal setting.

Analyze employee retention and other key People & Culture metrics, partnering with leaders to develop action plans and data‑driven decisions.

Assess development needs and collaborate with Learning & Development to implement leadership and employee growth strategies, coordinating applicable training programs.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of People & Culture practices, employment trends, and local regulations.

Qualifications

5–7 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, emphasizing employee relations and generalist HR; experience supporting a large, multi‑site field population in California preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and creative problem‑solving skills.

Demonstrated ability to assess situations, make sound decisions, and influence effectively at all levels.

Proven experience managing complex employee relations matters, including compliance with California regulations.

Excellent time‑management, organizational, and follow‑up skills; ability to manage competing priorities independently.

Energetic, collaborative, and adaptable with a commitment to high standards in a fast‑paced environment.

Willingness and ability to travel to clubs and regional offices within the assigned market.

Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA (hybrid club/office presence expected).

Pay Transparency $165,000 – $175,000
