Our Intelligence & Cyber Business Unit is seeking a committed HR Business Partner to join our team. The strategic HR Business Partner will play a pivotal role in collaborating with leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support the organization's goals and require a deep understanding of the business, strong expertise in various HR competencies.

Location:

Hanover, MD (1 day per week) and Chantilly, VA (1 day per week)

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic partnership, collaborating with business leaders to design workforce strategies that support long-term business objectives.

Support leaders through customized assimilation and coaching that deliver effective team management and performance.

Drive change management initiatives to align with business objectives, guiding leaders and teams through transition and growth.

Partner with business stakeholders to lead restructuring, job design, and talent optimization efforts to improve performance.

Conduct compensation analysis to ensure equity, competitiveness, and role clarity.

Monitor key performance indicators to drive retention and engagement, recommending data‑driven solutions.

Provide strategic guidance and coaching to leaders on employee relations matters, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring consistent application of HR policies and practices.

Work with the Employee Relations Department to manage complex investigations and resolve high‑level conflicts while ensuring legal compliance.

Support leaders on succession planning, identifying critical roles, facilitating talent reviews and designing a knowledge transfer process to reduce risk.

Cultivate collaborative relationships with cross‑functional teams, including Benefits, HR Operations, Talent Management, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition, to align business goals with HR strategies that deliver efficient integrated solutions.

Qualifications

5 to 8 years of progressive HR experience partnering with senior leadership in a high‑impact environment.

Demonstrated experience in government contracting environments, preferably in cybersecurity, intelligence, or defense sectors.

Strong knowledge of organizational compliance (i.e., DCAA, SOX) with a deep understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Proven success leading change management during complex integrations or organizational shifts.

Strong analytical skills and fluency with compensation strategy and workforce metrics.

Demonstrated advanced critical thinking skills with the ability to provide evidence‑based recommendations to senior leadership.

Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills.

A forward‑leaning attitude with a focus on driving growth and innovation in HR practices.

Financial business acumen to partner with leadership effectively.

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree.

PHR, SHRM‑SCP or equivalent certification.

Familiarity with Workday systems and analytics.

Active TS security clearance.

Compensation Details $95,000 - $110,000
