Overview
Sales Trainer position responsible for training, development and improving the productivity of the Chadwell Supply's sales department. This role is integral in the training and development of new sales reps to support our growth strategy. The position will assess the needs of the sales department for continuing education and developmental needs to drive training initiatives. Identify, create, develop, and implement suitable training solutions for all employees under the Sales umbrella. Reports to the Sales Training Manager, with extensive collaboration with Sales Leadership. What you will need
Be a minimum of 21 years of age. Able to pass all pre-employment, background check, and drug testing. Be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills, and be able to effectively communicate. Have at least 1 to 2 years previous Sales Training experience, preferably in the learning/training field, or 5+ years in comparable training. High School Diploma or GED required. Employee must be fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English. What you will do
Be friendly and courteous towards managers, employees, and platform partners. Be a vigilant, sincere, and responsible person able to work with employees at all levels. Be able to work in coordination with supervisors and colleagues, handling multiple competing priorities. Be detail-oriented and organized. Have excellent time management, relationship-building and multitasking skills. Have excellent verbal and written communications skills. Have the ability to teach and train individuals in a variety of topics. Be technologically savvy to leverage educational and training programs with the benefits of technology. Lead the sales training process for the entire sales organization and 200+ reps under the guidance of the Sales Training Manager. Learn current processes and Chadwell Sales development approach as the background structure for training development. Identify needs for the sales team to ensure curriculum meets learning objectives and contributes to overall performance. Review and improve current sales training materials with a focus on content creation, process control, and writing documents for training. Oversee, develop, update, and maintain sales training materials and procedures to support the entire Sales Team. Deliver training using a variety of media and methods, including instructor-led sessions, hands-on instruction, and e-learning or virtual options. Coordinate with knowledge experts to include and utilize them in training classes and material development as needed. Provide individual or small group coaching to sales representatives as necessary. Communicate consistently with Sales Leadership to assess needs in the Field. Collect, interpret, and brief Sales Leadership on data to determine effectiveness of training techniques. Utilize Predictive Index tool to understand training needs. Engage in one-on-one reviews with sales representatives as requested to maximize performance. Partner with sales and marketing departments to set and progress toward sales goals. Up to 20% Travel; with overnights. Assist with LMS adjustments, updates, or corrections as instructed. Create and monitor online surveys/feedback forms. What will set you apart
Advanced Education and Certifications is a plus. Direct Sales experience preferred. CRM Tools knowledge preferred.
