(July 6th-July 7th from 5pm-9pm)
Final Performance (July 8th at 7pm)
Synopsis of the play:
Some time after their formidable mother’s funeral, three brothers reunite underneath their childhood home to decide what comes next—for her house, her belongings, and unintentionally, for themselves. What should be a simple conversation of arrangements and responsibilities quickly turns into a chaotic, hilarious, and grief‑filled night full of unresolved issues, childhood memories, and brutally honest truths. As the night drags on and their mother’s invisible supernatural presence grows stronger, these three men will realize they’ve always been Mama's Boys...
The play deals with themes of
Grief, Identity, Reconciliation, and Trauma.
All coming together in a comedic and dramatic display of brotherhood.
About the Playwright:
Raymond J. Ingram is an Actor, Singer, Dancer, and Playwright from Silver Spring, Maryland based in Philadelphia. He brings his talents to Philadelphia to continue to find his voice and bring the next great story to you. He is a queer black playwright who specializes in unhinged and raw dramedies and comedies.
