Overview
Join our finishing team to apply premium-quality finishes to custom cabinetry. You’ll be responsible for spray application, stain mixing and color matching, and ensuring top quality by working closely with other production staff. Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and maintain spray booth systems or turbine/HVLP/airless sprayers to apply stains, toners, sealers, and topcoats on custom cabinetry Prepare surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and ensuring proper adhesion before spraying Accurately mix stains and finishes to achieve precise color matching and consistent coverage Perform visual inspection of all pieces before and after spraying to ensure quality standards are met Conduct routine cleaning, maintenance, and recordkeeping for spray equipment and finish booth area Collaborate closely with fellow team members to meet production schedules and uphold our high-quality finish level Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in spray finishing, preferably in cabinetry or woodwork Solid understanding of different sprayer systems (turbine/HVLP/airless) and when to use each Strong color visualization skills and ability to mix/match stains and finishes accurately Excellent attention to detail and able to consistently produce high-end finishes Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and performing repetitive tasks safely Effective communicator with a positive, team-oriented mindset
