Art Therapy Internship for AI powered museum

Institution Lab is seeking Art Therapy research interns and PhD students to assist with the development of ALAN, our emotionally aware curatorial AI assistant.
Internship responsibilities include:
Preparing releases, posts, and documents using our custom CMS.
Researching works and contacting artists to add to our platform.
Writing grant applications and participating in fundraising and crowdfunding campaigns.
Liaising with artists, curators, and international art world personalities.
Learning curatorial skills from our experienced curator.
Contributing to the buildout of our physical museum space in NYC.
Internship details:
Volunteer period of at least 4 months.
Remote internship with optional visits to offices in Italy, New York, and China.
Entry test required; applicants must speak English, Italian, or Chinese.
Official certificate of completion; potential transition to contract/full‑time roles.
Qualifications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Background or education in art therapy, psychology, or a related field. Preference for Masters and PhD students who can work independently.
Ability to work collaboratively in an innovative and technology‑driven environment.
Will provide a research paper at the end of the internship.
