Join Team Dahl as a Parts Counterperson at Dahl Ford Truck La Crosse in La Crosse, WI! In this position, you will use your customer service and organizational skills to assist our technicians and guests in getting the correct parts for their heavy‑duty vehicle repairs and needs. Previous automotive/heavy‑duty truck parts experience is preferred, but not necessarily required.
This position works with both Class 8 heavy‑duty trucks and trailers, and Ford commercial vehicle parts. This position will work Monday‑Friday.
Responsibilities
Assist guests in finding the appropriate parts for their heavy‑duty vehicle
Create and modify purchase orders
Work with technicians to ensure they have the parts needed to complete vehicle repairs
Must be able to work manufacturer catalogs and DMS systems to determine the correct parts and pricing
Process and close open invoices
Maintain a high level of service and urgency for all internal departments
Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction over the phone and on the counter
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with automotive/heavy‑duty truck parts sales (preferred)
Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment
Strong organizational and time management skills
Detail‑oriented, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
