What To Expect The Human Resources Business Partner works closely with HR leadership and business leaders to align with the overall business objectives. This role is responsible for providing guidance, analyzing metrics, resolving employee relations issues, and works with management to improve work relationships & productivity. The HR Business Partner will act as a consultant, aligning HR practices with business goals.
Duties/Responsibilities
Provides strategic alignment & enhances organizational effectiveness by creating positive employee relations programs; strengthening communications between leadership & their teammates; and continual improvement of HR metrics to support business decisions.
Participates in the engagement survey analysis, feedback, action, and follow up process in tandem with business leaders.
Facilitates the onboarding process for new hires by ensuring that new teammates receive an exceptional new hire experience. Ensures introductory period, 45-day, & 90-day reviews are held & feedback is followed up on.
Reviews teammate complaints: ensures accurate & timely investigation, ensures documentation of concerns or issues, and escalates to the appropriate business leaders.
Will work with HR Manager to develop an exit interview process. Will coordinate the dissemination of information from exit interviews to the leadership team to enable issues to be addressed & improvements to be fostered.
Collaborates with the business on all HR practices including policies and employment law.
Handles the administration of Unemployment Compensation responses & hearings.
Seeks opportunities to improve processes within the scope of HR to reduce costs & increase efficiency of the HR function.
Manages all leaves of absences.
Processes payroll.
Supports benefit management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

BS/BA degree in business administration, HR management or related field preferred
2+ years of work experience in an HR role
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification a plus
Knowledge of HR policies, processes, & talent management practices
Proficient in Microsoft Office
UKG experience a plus
