Salary Range:
$65,000 - $70,000 (plus $30k - $75k yearly commissions) Permanent Position with Benefits Agrowing Mentor Ohio area design and build engineering firm seeking a top‑notch Sales Engineer to drive growth and provide technical expertise for this industry leader in electrical protection solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a technical advisor and strategic partner, servicing established clients and developing new ones for the Midwest USA and Canada. This is a stable, growing manufacturer dedicated to modernizing critical electrical infrastructure across the world. What You Will Do
Territory Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact and lead growth strategies for your region Technical Advisory: Provide application guidance and product selection expertise to electrical service providers and specifying engineers Demand Generation: Proactively engage end‑users and influence project specifications to favor URC solutions Presentations: Deliver engaging technical seminars and training sessions to technicians and executives Travel: Engage with customers on‑site with travel up to 70% (air and ground) Qualifications
Residency: Must be a current Ohio Resident (Greater Cleveland area preferred) Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field Experience: 3–5 years of proven success in technical sales, preferably within industrial or electrical markets Skills: Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts; familiarity with CRM/Salesforce Attributes: High integrity, self‑motivated, and capable of managing a large multi‑state territory independently Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
